Driving

This is sort of how I feel somedays. Especially driving back and forth and to and fro. I can't wait until I am in one place.

What are we thinking?

Church bulletins. The thread that holds the church together, something for people to hold on to while they sing and read text aloud that they know by heart. Something to pile up in the trash at the end of the day because you cannot deny that most people never look at these again. Every Sunday we are throwing away tons of paper at churches all over the world. Is it recycled? Who knows. With projectors and power point being so prevalent in churches today one would think that they would be used for these things too. I guess from now on I'll just share with my neighbor.

Judge Beans Revenge

Trip to Lascassas last weekend yeilded a whole plate of brisket and some awesome slaw. If you like BBQ in it's most basic form nothing fancy just brisket with some white bread, you'll like this place. There is a Judge Beans in Nashville too. I liked the atmosphere, like the town diner where there's always that table of old codgers talking about "back in the day".

Nothing like the Magnolia frogs...

Georgia is a young artist. Fully capable at 4 years old to write left handed and backwards, I believe like DaVinci. She is also great at coloring Rasta Frogs. I like the huge eyelashes and the freckles. Her drawings never cease to amaze me. My favorite time we colored was when she was drawing clothing on the life size outline of herself to be hung up at school. She drew her "boobies" on. Two little dots. At first my thought was "oh no" we can't hang it up now. But then she started coloring over them saying "now I'm putting my shirt on" In her world she was "dressing" herself not drawing herself. It's neat to see how she thinks.
