WoW!!

TEXT FROM WEBSITE.....

Outstanding job by a great young pilot from Pennsylvania !

Can't add anything else to this... the picture is worth 10,000 words!
If you don't think our military pilots earn their pay, you need to take
a look at this picture.

This photo was taken by a soldier in Afghanistan of a helo rescue mission.
The pilot is a PA National Guard guy who flies EMS choppers in civilian life.

Now how many people on the planet you reckon could set the back end of a
chopper down on the roof top of a shack, on a steep mountain
cliff, and hold it there while soldiers load wounded men in the rear. If this does not impress you... nothing ever will.

God Bless our military.

Why?

I sit here like a mopey kid just wondering why NIN didn't come through Nashville this year. Yes a three hour drive to some smaller town south or west is not bad, but on a work day? I guess I'm just not a big enough fan. It seems like all the bands we love used to come through once a year or every few years, now we have to trek hours to see them. My sister saw a bunch of awesome bands at Lollapalooza which I am sure is spelled wrong, and I am sure was worth the bazillion dollar price tag.... Nashville is a music hub, but where are the bigger bands? I guess I shouldn't say bigger, some of the bands that come through are great, Iron and Wine will be coming soon, recently the Kings of Leon played two nights. Somewhere bands are playing and we're missing them. We need better venues that can hold the amount of people these bands draw. Other than Gaylord, there are very few places to play, not everyone wants to play an arena. I hope U2 tours soon, maybe they will come through here, I doubt it, but for them I might travel......
